Clinical Mental Health Counselor provides counseling, consultation, and educational outreach services to Trinity University students in support of the mission of Counseling Services and the division of Student Affairs.
Requirements
- Masterâs degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related mental health field from an accredited institution
- Current, active, and unrestricted license as a mental health professional in Texas (e.g., LP, LPC, LCSW, LMFT), or the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Texas within the required timeframe
- Minimum of at least one year of experience providing individual counseling
- Experience working with diverse populations, including racial/ethnic minority students, LGBTQIA+ students, and neurodivergent individuals
