Job Description
The Department of Finance and Business Analytics in the Neidorff School of Business at Trinity University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Finance position. The primary teaching responsibility is to teach the introductory-level finance courses, and the successful candidate will be a passionate and effective teacher dedicated to engaging undergraduate business students. The department values and safeguards academic freedom for faculty members in their teaching and scholarship.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate students, particularly in foundational or introductory finance courses
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make complex financial concepts accessible and relevant to diverse learners
- Active participation in student professional development initiatives
- Professional experience in the finance industry or established relationships with industry practitioners
