CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist will work in the machine shop and support operations. They will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts, fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Requirements

• 5-7 years' experience as a precision machinist with knowledge of conversational programming
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for effective manufacture of precision components
• Measuring skills using calipers, bore micrometers, and pin gauges
• Mechanical ability using hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively
