Machinist

The Machinist position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, fabrication, or modification of tooling or machinery using various hand and machine tools to maintain all end-making and auxiliary equipment in the plant, while ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are met.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of two years' experience as a shop machinist in a manufacturing environment / tool & die maker
• Close tolerance precision grinding experience
• Apprenticeship and/or post-secondary education preferred
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Ability to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction
• Basic computer skills
