Machinist

The Machinist position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, fabrication, or modification of tooling or machinery using various hand and machine tools. The Machinist must ensure quality, safety, and production goals are met in compliance with established operating procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of two years' experience as a shop machinist in a manufacturing environment / tool & die maker
• Close tolerance precision grinding experience
• Apprenticeship and/or post-secondary education preferred
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work all shifts including 8 or 12-hour shifts, daylight, and off-shifts as well as weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
