Operator Technician

Under the direction of the Operations Team Lead and/or general supervision, the operator technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the company's equipment within prescribed specifications which satisfies the customer requirements of quality, cost, and time, using the most economical means and complying with all legal requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude
• 2+ years experience in high volume manufacturing preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Possess excellent teamwork abilities, organizational skills, and problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Basic computer & math skills needed to be able to read and interpret drawings, review specifications, review work instructions and report line performance
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work all shifts including 8 or 12-hour shifts, daylight, and off-shifts as well as weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Ability to adapt to changing initiatives
• Working knowledge of measuring devices
