Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will lead operational excellence projects, from initiation to completion, working closely with all operations departments to optimize manufacturing performance, determining operations to produce products and develops processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met.

Requirements

• Evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for the manufacture of aluminum containers
• Effectively engage and motivate cross-functional employees at all levels of the organization
• Create/edit/maintain necessary documentation
• Manage projects to ensure on-time/on budget implementation
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers
• Monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of manufacturing processes through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating personnel
• Lead groups of cross-functional employees in order to overcome obstacles inherent within the manufacturing environment
• Facilitate and sustain best practices and knowledge sharing among departments and production crews/shifts
