Job Description
Accountable for overseeing and improving overall plant quality through the implementation of process quality systems, while ensuring all quality related issues are addressed to achieve maximum efficiency.
Requirements
- Maintenance of plant quality systems
- Development and driving of continuous improvement initiatives
- Implementation of corrective actions
- Key outside customer contact
- Leading plant root cause and corrective action investigations
- Audit implementation of corrective actions
- Coordination with Commercial, Product Development and Corporate Engineering
- Accurate and timely resolution of coating and mill supplier defective material claims
- Ensuring plant adherence to SMA principles and procedures
- Responsible for the HFI system
- Ensure plant quality procedures are properly completed
- Quality objectives (KPIs) communication with floor personnel
- Educating and instructing plant departmental leads and supervisors
- Prepare quality reviews and submit them to management
