Job Description
Matrix New World Engineering has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist/Groundwater Modeling Team Leader to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling for water resources and environmental consulting projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrology, or environmental science, Master’s degree preferred
- Registered Geologist in AZ; or ability to obtain registration within 12 months
- 10 years in hydrogeology/water resources/groundwater modeling/well design and/or installation/engineering/environmental remediation sectors
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Proficiency in analytical and numerical groundwater modeling software
- Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems
- Project management experience in groundwater resources or environmental consulting projects
- Efficient proposal writer and solid cost estimator with very proficient technical writing skills
- Capable of working on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
