Job Description
Matrix New World Engineering has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist / Water Resources Lead to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in physical hydrogeology, aquifer testing, and the design of complex well systems, possessing leadership skills to manage large-scale groundwater resource projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrology, or Geological Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- Registered Geologist (P.G.) in Arizona; or ability to obtain reciprocity within 12 months
- 10+ years in hydrogeology, water resource development, or environmental remediation
- 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or managing large-scale field programs
- Advanced proficiency in aquifer test analysis, well design specifications, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Proven track record of producing high-quality technical reports, permit applications, and proposals
