CNC Machinist - Large Part

TRUMPF is a world leader in sheet metal fabrication machinery and industrial lasers. We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team in Farmington, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up large parts for machining, quality control, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience as a machinist on relevant CNC machines
• Relevant technical education is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used
• Being able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts if required
• Being able to properly use gauges, micrometers, and other equipment necessary to measure and inspect individual work
• Being able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings
• Having great attention to quality
