Quality Supervisor

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day quality operations on the production floor to ensure products meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role provides direct supervision to Quality Inspector Lead and Technicians, supports compliance with the Quality Management Systems (QMS), and ensures timely execution of inspections, corrective actions, and containment activities.

Requirements

• Supervise daily activities of Quality Inspectors and Technicians across assigned shifts or value streams.
• Ensure inspections, audits, and quality checks are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Support containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities for internal and external quality issues.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for production quality concerns and coordinate resolution with Operations, Engineering, and Quality Management.
• Enforce compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Review inspection results, nonconformances, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Support internal and external audits by ensuring preparedness, documentation availability, and corrective action follow-up.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and development of Quality team members.
• Promote a culture of shared quality ownership between Manufacturing and Quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, yield improvement, and process stability.
• Escalate systemic or high-risk quality issues to the Quality Manager as appropriate.
