Job Description
Tufco is looking for a Line Lead to provide direction to crew members, work with machines and equipment, and perform tasks to ensure production schedules are met.
Requirements
- Provides direction to crew members working on the line
- Ensures machines operate at optimal efficiency, minimizing downtime
- Performs maintenance on production equipment as necessary
- Ensures machine setup before each run and tear down after each run
- Monitors quality of the products, notifying appropriate personnel of any defects
- Ensures that all production reporting and data collection is completed in a timely manner
- Looks for ways to create continuous improvement
- Counts products being packaged and placing correct number into boxes
- Monitors date code quality and date changes
- Prepares product for shipping as needed
- Maintains production standards
- Responsible for area housekeeping
- Interacts with and supports other members of the manufacturing team
