The Head of Flight Operations TUI fly Germany AOC is responsible for implementing the group-wide strategy in the flight operations area and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. The role involves managing the entire implementation of flight operations, coordinating activities with internal and external customers and suppliers, and monitoring legal requirements. The successful candidate will have experience in international cooperation, management, and leadership, as well as comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and flight documentation.
Requirements
- Captain with an active employment contract
- First experiences in international cooperation in a matrix organization
- Several years of office and at least five years of management experience in a comparable organization or function
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements of the European Union and associated requirements, procedures, and regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of the systematics of a flight documentation (OM A to D) and familiarity with relevant quality systems and (safety) management systems
- Experience in digitalizing operational processes and data-driven flight operations optimization
- Very good leadership and communication skills, also with regulatory interfaces
- Analytical and structured working method; ability to prioritize in safety-critical situations
- Change and stakeholder management
- Conflict resolution and decision-making strength
- Knowledge of business connections and experience in budget planning and management, desirable
- Confident appearance and negotiation skills with external and internal partners in German and English
