Requirements
- University degree in Ecology, Biology, or a related program (Master's degree preferred)
- 4+ years of experience working in a related role, preferably with consulting experience
- Proficiency with standard to advanced statistical analytical tools (proficiency with R preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to perform studies in aquatic ecology
- General knowledge of fish and fish habitat
- Experience with a range of fish and aquatic sampling techniques
- Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation
- Experience conducting fish community and population assessments
- Experience in field survey design, coordination and field lead
- High motivation with results-oriented focus
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Unwavering commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid Class G driver's licence
