Senior Accounting Analyst (III)

The Senior Accounting Analyst (III) will oversee and review financial records, develop and maintain policies and procedures, and manage grant financial reporting for the Tuolumne Me-Wuk Tribal Council and Tuolumne Me-Wuk Housing Authority. The role will also assist in implementing software projects and leading audits and examinations.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in accounting
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible management and supervisory experience in finance or accounts
• Knowledge of accounting standards under GAAP
• Sound judgement in relation to accounting standards
• Strong computer accounting skills, including computerized accounting systems, Microsoft Excel and database systems
• Knowledge of federal programs and financial and procurement regulations
• Knowledge of GASB reporting procedures related to Tribes as a governmental entity
• Ability to develop fiscal and procedural policies for internal control
• Valid California driver’s license
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
