Job Description
We are seeking a Cost Engineer to join our team in Plymouth, UK. As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for work packages and projects of varying size and complexity, with a focus on cost control and management. You will work with our client's office in Bridgewater for 3 days a week. The role requires a strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis. You will also be responsible for leading Cost Control Assurance activities and managing relationships between time, cost, risk, change, reporting, and scope.
Requirements
- Professional Project Controls experience specialising in Cost Engineering/Control in one or more sectors across the whole Project lifecycle
- Detailed understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis
- Ability to lead Cost Control Assurance activities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to make risk-based decisions
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Experience leading teams and managing conflicts
