Cost Engineer - Project Controls - Energy Projects

Turner & Townsend is recruiting for a Cost Engineer to join their diverse and supportive team in Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for work packages and projects of varying size and complexity, taking the lead on cost control and working with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust Performance Measurement Baseline.

Requirements

• Professional Project Controls experience specialising in Cost Engineering/Control
• Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge
• Progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to influence, manage, motivate, coach, and develop a team
• Familiarity with different cost performance reporting and cost forecasting techniques
• Experience leading Cost Control Assurance activities
• Understanding of Project Controls (Scheduling, Risk Management, Reporting, Change Control) interactions with Cost Control
