Job Description
The Therapy Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties.
Requirements
- Greet and register patients
- Collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
- Verify and document insurance information
- Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients
- Communicate all pertinent information to patients
- Chart preparation and management
- Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff
- Assist in non-billable patient services
- Guide patients through specific education/intervention
- Assist in organizing and writing literature for exercises, therapy, and sport programs
- Clean and stock exam rooms, gym, equipment, and therapy space
- Assist with check-in for individual and group fitness classes
- Coordinate equipment repair as needed
- Assist with patient transport within the clinic
