Job Description
Texas Woman’s University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join their School of Human Sciences. The position is for a counseling and development position, offering a full-time position beginning in August 2026, within a multidisciplinary environment. The school houses programs in Child Development, Child Life, Human Development & Family Studies, and Marriage & Family Therapy.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Counseling (CACREP-accredited preferred)
- Eligible for LPC licensure in Texas
- Documented professional LPC identity
- Evidence of successful teaching experience
- Demonstrated clinical competence
- Established research agenda and record of publications
- Potential for obtaining externally funded grants
