Professor-Associate Professor/Director of the School of Physical Therapy is a full-time position that requires a terminal degree and experience in administration and academia. The role involves leadership and administrative responsibilities within the School of Physical Therapy, representing the discipline to the University community and external constituencies. The position also involves faculty responsibilities, including teaching, research, and service.

Requirements

• Terminal degree for the field
• Tenure and rank of full Professor
• Prior successful supervisory or significant university-level committee experience
• Ability to prepare and administer budgets
• Ability to conduct effective personnel evaluations
• Familiarity with research and best practices in the areas of teaching, learning, and scholarship within the discipline
• Familiarity and ability to comply with disciplinary requirements and any appropriate accreditations
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with diverse individuals and groups in a team environment
• Ability to use a personal computer and other office equipment, including related university software and email
