Manager, Mechanical/Structural Design - Davis Besse

This position is responsible for managing the Design Engineering Mechanical /Structural department to offer design services that supports maintaining the design bases and licensing bases for the nuclear power plant. The manager is responsible for interfacing with regulators, contractors and industry groups, and directing the activities of individual contributors within the group.

Requirements

• Engineering 4 Year Degree from an accredited institution
• Design Engineering experience and familiarity with the Design Control program at a Nuclear Facility.
• An advanced knowledge of Mechanical/Structural design.
• Technical understanding of nuclear plant processes, programs, and procedures
• Knowledge of nuclear codes, standards and regulations; to include Licensing knowledge at a Nuclear Power Plant.
• Nuclear policies and guidelines to for Engineering Organizations including Chapter 15 nuclear safety analysis
