Manager, Mechanical/Structural Design - Davis Besse

This position is responsible for managing the Design Engineering Mechanical /Structural department to offer design services that supports maintaining the design bases and licensing bases. The manager is the focal point for interfacing with regulators, contractors and industry groups.

Requirements

• Engineering 4 Year Degree from an accredited institution
• Design Engineering experience and familiarity with the Design Control program at a Nuclear Facility.
• An advanced knowledge of Mechanical/Structural design.
• Technical understanding of nuclear plant processes, programs, and procedures
• Knowledge of nuclear codes, standards and regulations; to include Licensing knowledge at a Nuclear Power Plant.
• Nuclear policies and guidelines to for Engineering Organizations including Chapter 15 nuclear safety analysis
• Professional Engineering registration preferred
• Plant Certification or SRO Certification/License is recommended.
