Associate Principal, Mechanical

We are seeking an Associate Principal, Mechanical to lead our Vancouver Mechanical Healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Control systems, and experience leading and designing healthcare projects.

Requirements

• Leads a team, ensuring members receive adequate training, support and development opportunities
• Accountable for ensuring appropriate utilization, workload planning and forecasting
• Implements programs to improve the quality of service, products, and systems
• Promote quality issues with all team members and ensure that the quality control function is effectively performed
• Act as the firm representative and maintain good relationships with clients, project stakeholders, associations, government bodies and other entities
• Is an active role model for team and office culture and promotes an inclusive workplace
• Builds and manages their own key clients and monitors key pursuits/opportunities
• Contributes to GO/NO-GO decisions with the mindset of growing the business
• Monitors and assists with keeping team performance at or above the annual plan
• Is a discipline lead on projects with minimal peer/technical support required
