Job Description
The Postdoctoral Researcher in Electrical Engineering with Specialisation in Local Electricity Markets role at IERC supports the delivery of projects, contributes to bid and proposal activity, and engages in internal and external facing activities.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a specialisation in electricity markets or power systems
- Experience in managing research projects
- Demonstrated experience using design and modelling tools: Matlab SPS/PSIM/Open DSS/IPSA or other power system and network simulation tools
- Evidence of high levels of initiative and self-starter
- Flexibility to travel
- Proven track record of research publications
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
