Job Description
This role involves lead, conduct inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in a field and shop environment. Understanding of electrical distribution systems and use of complex test equipment is essential. A focus on safe working conditions, continuous improvement, and teamwork is required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience
- Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization
- Netta/NICET certification (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting protective relays, circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical equipment
- Experience with test equipment like Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, and Fluke meters
- Knowledge of insulation resistance, power factor, contact resistance, and high-potential (Hi-Pot) testing procedures
- Willingness to travel.
