Job Description
This Electrical Testing Field Engineer position is responsible for the installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of protective relaying and metering systems in transmission and distribution facilities. The role involves performing diagnostics, interpreting schematics, and coordinating repairs to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems. The engineer will use hands-and power tools, meters, and other test equipment.
Requirements
- Proficient in using test equipment
- National Electrical Technician (NETA) / Industrial Electrician (NICET) certification (preferred)
- Understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults
- Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization
