Laboratory Assistant

Performs laboratory tests, maintains equipment, and communicates with customers and colleagues. Assists engineers and other laboratory staff with data collection and analysis.

Requirements

• Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment
• Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area
• Operates computer terminal to extract/input information
• Reads and interprets results of tests
• Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results
• Develops working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems
