Job Description
We are seeking a Technician & Field Service Officer to provide technical support services to our Defence customer at various Defence locations throughout Australia and/or overseas. The successful candidate will have a high level of knowledge of electronic components, fault finding techniques, and IPC standards, with experience working in Naval, Land and Air domains.
Requirements
- Provide technical support services to Defence customer
- Assume lead role in offsite activities
- Test, maintain, and diagnose electronic and electro-mechanical hardware/equipment
- Maintain and upgrade tasks
- Participate in technical work associated with system and equipment condition assessment
- Comply with legislation and Company policies
- Adhere to approved work practices
- Participate in design, prototype, test, and installation of minor electronic developments
- Respond to technical help desk enquiries
