Job Description
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacy supervisor and pharmacist, the Certified Pharmacy Technician-Outpatient Pharmacy Prescription Center is responsible for performing daily operations within the pharmacy, including medication related tasks such as packaging, preparation of medications, record keeping, and drug distribution.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
- Certified by one of the national governing bodies such as PTCB, or the National Healthcareer Association ExCPT
- Proficiency in math
- Knowledge and ability to use a computer
