ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST

Obtains and records patient clinical information, performs ultrasound scans to produce images for diagnosis, and assists with patient care and maintenance of equipment. Maintains yearly competency in Trophon disinfection processes and keeps up to date with changes in ultrasonography by attending courses or seminars.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Registrant or registry eligible by the ARDMS
• BLS certification required within 90 days from date of hire
