Job Description
The duties of the UMC Staff Pharmacist are to optimize patient outcomes by providing the safest and highest quality of care to patients. This care will be provided by using the most cost effective and clinically effective means that will be in accordance with federal and state laws and other accepted and regulated standards of practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Registration and licensure as a registered pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy within the first 90 days of employment
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors
- Near visual acuity required
