Job Description
UN Women is seeking a National Consultant - Specialist Gender Equality Profiling to conduct a Country Gender Equality Profile (CGEP) in Sierra Leone, focusing on analyzing the current context, identifying gender discrepancies, and providing recommendations for addressing gender gaps.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Sustainable Development, Statistics, or related fields.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in the field of Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment, including developing Country Gender Equality Profiles.
- Proven experience working with multi-stakeholder and cultural organizations, including governments, NGOs, and the UN.
- Sound knowledge of international standards on human rights, women's rights, and related instruments.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality analytical reports and facilitate consultative processes.
