UN Women : Gender and Information Management Specialist, International Consultant,Kinshasa, RDC

The Gender and Information Management Specialist will support the WPSHA pillar to improve the Humanitarian response plan in support to the Humanitarian Country Team (HCT) and enhance coordination mechanisms with the provision of timely and accessible gender data. The specialist will manage gender data, conduct gender analysis, and provide technical oversight on monitoring and evaluation to ensure accountability to affected populations.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in gender, international relations, international development, or other social science fields
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in managing gender data, analysis and reporting processes, with a particular focus on gender and protection in emergencies
• Technical experience in inter-agency coordination, preferably protection cluster coordination
• Experience working with, and building partnerships with governments, donors and civil society organizations internationally and in the field
