Job Description
The BIOFIN Project Management Specialist will be based in the UNDP South Africa Country Office and will work on developing and implementing finance solutions for biodiversity conservation, as well as supporting national biodiversity strategy and action plan.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Resource Economics, Development Finance, Environmental Economics, Development Studies, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in sustainable finance, development, capital markets, banking, public finance, conservation finance, or environmental economics/finance
- Excellent project management, planning, and execution skills
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
- Fluency in English, with excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
