Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED accepted with relevant work experience
- Associate degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience preferred
- Knowledge of accessing behavioral health services in Lucas County
- Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness, crisis management and the ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
- Must demonstrate the ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and make recommendations
- Must demonstrate positive attitude, commitment to provide superior services and enthusiastic support for the mission of the agency
- Must establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Must demonstrate the ability to represent the agency in a positive manner when in the community
- Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals
