Job Description
United Ag & Turf is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician to independently perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment. The role requires mentoring of Service Technicians and maintaining documentation of work performed. A strong team player and knowledgeable about John Deere equipment is needed.
Requirements
- Diagnoses and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
- Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians
- Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
- Complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs
- Operates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Maintains a clean work area
- Follows all safety rules and regulations
