Job Description
United Ag & Turf is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician to independently perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment. The role involves mentorship, documentation, and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities include working with shop supervisor, training trainees and maintaining vehicle upkeep.
Requirements
- Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
- Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians
- Responsible for billable time and assigned work orders
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Follows all safety rules and regulations
- Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
