Job Description
Prep and assemble fabricated components and materials in accordance with customer quality requirements and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies. Perform essential duties on a first shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm with mandated overtime.
Requirements
- Understanding cross check concepts and inspecting product according to Inspection Control Plan
- Accurately tagging material and product according to product specifications
- Identifying hardware components used in assemblies
- Computing decimal equivalents and interchange fractions
- Accurately counting and recording production activity
- Following written and verbal directions to complete assignments or jobs
- Cross-training with paint department
- Operating overhead cranes, tape measure, caliper, basic hand tools, and air tools
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Operating a forklift
- Recording time accurately using data collection system
