Job Description
The Portfolio Manager takes primary responsibility for the underwriting process, portfolio administration and credit quality of assigned portfolio partnering with lenders and other stakeholders both within the Bank and externally. Responsibilities include supporting the commercial lending process, working with commercial lenders and treasury management, and providing financial solutions to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in Financial Services
- Prior working experience with loan underwriting and credit training
- Ability to analyze financial and project statement, corporate and personal tax returns
- Strong understanding of loan documentation criteria
- Knowledge of United's services, products, policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Spanish or additional language
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal, customer relations and sales skills
