Job Description
As a Caseworker - Family Preservation, you will work closely with families facing challenges, providing trauma-informed and culturally responsive support to prevent children from entering out-of-home care. You will help families develop essential parenting skills, improve relationships, and create safer environments for their children.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or a related field
- Experience in casework, case management, or working with at-risk children and families
- Deep understanding of child protection issues, risk assessments, and intervention strategies
- Ability to engage with families from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel for home visits
- Current WWVP card
