Job Description
The Patient Access Representative (Rep) performs all Patient Access Services functions, including hospital cashiering and insurance verification. Provides excellent patient focused customer service and works at a fully cross-functional level in all functional areas.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Medical terminology preferred
- Accurately type 25-30 words per minute
- Pass a clerical examination
- Previous experience in hospital admissions, business office and/or physician’s office preferred
