Job Description
The Communications Representative (CR) performs basic functions such as communications and Information Desk functions, patient check-in and discharge, and up-front collections. Provides excellent patient-focused customer service and communicates effectively to service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Medical terminology preferred
- Ability to accurately type 25-30 words per minute
- Pass a clerical examination
- Previous experience in telecommunication switchboard, customer service, and/or physician's office
