As a Product Manager, you will coordinate sales activities and product management nationally to contribute to the achievement of the company's sales targets. This position will work closely with key suppliers and internal personnel to support successful long-term growth and implement successful programs that benefit both Univar and our suppliers.
Requirements
- Business relationships with suppliers, including mapping and engaging interactions with management, technical, marketing, and supply teams.
- Implementation and execution of procurement, supply, sales, marketing, financial, and logistical strategies.
- Negotiation of pricing and buying plans.
- Close partnership with procurement, finance, and accounts payable to resolve supplier issues and remove supply chain obstacles.
- Collaboration with marketing on campaigns, push products, and supplier engagement.
- Providing regular market updates to the field sales organization on assigned products and coordinating training with suppliers for both technical and commercial topics.
- Providing mentorship to the sales teams and others on day-to-day issues, e.g., pricing, service, procurement, and supply.
- Facilitating business growth and communications relevant to the assigned market.
