Job Description
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) assists the Registered Nurse (RN) and Physician in providing pre- and post-operative care to patients. This role includes assisting with patient assessment, documentation, implementing nursing care, and ensuring safe patient handling. It also involves discharge planning and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Completion of and certification in accredited LPN program
- LPN with active license in appropriate state
- CPR certification
- Evidence of leadership qualities
- Strong ethical and moral character references
- Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal and telephone communication in American English
