Job Description
The University of Vienna is seeking a Senior Lecturer (Guiding Education) in the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Astronomy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the education of students, with a focus on human-geographic methods, quantitative methods, and statistical procedures. The position is located at the Institute for Geography and Regional Research (IfGR) and is part of the Research Group Population, Environment and Development.
Requirements
- Completed Master's / Diploma degree in Geography, Demography or a related field
- Teaching experience at a post-secondary education institution
- Excellent didactic skills
- Funded knowledge of human-geographic methods, in particular quantitative methods and statistical procedures.
- Knowledge of qualitative methods is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of German and English
- Team player with high social/communicative competence.
