Senior Lecturer (instructional teaching)

We are looking for a Senior Lecturer (instructional teaching) to join the Department of Geography and Regional Research at the University of Vienna. The successful candidate will be involved in teaching human geography methods, particularly quantitative methods and statistical procedures, and will also take on administrative tasks and ongoing reception of the current state of science.

Requirements

• Completed master's/diploma degree in geography, demography or a relevant related discipline
• Teaching experience at a post-secondary educational institution
• Excellent didactic competences
• Sound knowledge of human geography methods, especially quantitative methods and statistical procedures
• Knowledge of qualitative methods is desirable
• Excellent knowledge of German and English
• You are a team player with high social skills
