Job Description
As a Medical Radiation Technologist in the Cardiovascular Investigations Unit (Cath Lab), you will be primarily responsible for radiation safety of multidisciplinary staff and patients, equipment management and troubleshooting, intra procedural monitoring and documentation, assisting interventional cardiologists and the clinical care team with cardiac medical procedures in a sterile environment.
Requirements
- Current Registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist - Radiography with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Completion of accredited Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences from an accredited program
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Minimum two (2) years of related work experience
- Demonstrated evidence of on going education
- Excellent interpersonal and decision making, organizational and time management skills
