Medical Radiation Technologist, Cath Lab - Talent Pool

The Cardiovascular Investigations Unit (Cath Lab) at Toronto General Hospital is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for radiation safety, equipment management, and assisting interventional cardiologists with cardiac medical procedures.

Requirements

• Current Registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist - Radiography with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
• Completion of accredited Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences from an accredited program
• Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Minimum two (2) years of related work experience
• Demonstrated evidence of ongoing education
• Excellent interpersonal and decision making, organizational and time management skills
• Encompasses the engagement and spirit of teamwork
• Must be able to respond to on-call notifications (arrive at the hospital) within 45 minutes maximum
• Must be able to wear lead apron
• Previous Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience an asset
