Registered Nurse - Neurovascular Unit

As a Registered Nurse on the Neurovascular Unit at the University Health Network, you will provide compassionate, collaborative, and competent care to patients with brain-related conditions. The Neurovascular Unit is a world-class care centre offering specialized interventions and monitoring for patients with neurovascular conditions.

Requirements

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
• Flexible and able to work effectively and efficiently within a interdisciplinary patient care team
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision making skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent computer skills
• BScN degree preferred
• Coronary Course 1 (CC1) preferred
• Cardiac monitoring skills preferred
• CNA Neuroscience Certification preferred
• Neurovascular experience preferred
• Completion of an Acute Care Course mandatory
